Harryville Men’s Shed was established in 2012 in response to a growing need within the local community – a need for connection, purpose and support.

What began as a small, grassroots initiative has developed into a trusted organisation supporting men across Ballymena. It was created by local people who understood that traditional approaches do not always work, and that sometimes the most effective support comes from simply being part of something shared.

Over time, the Shed has grown through the commitment of its members, evolving into a space where people can engage in a way that suits them. It is not defined by rigid structures or expectations, but by the experiences, skills and contributions of those who are part of it.
